love is....

My friend wrote this. I'm going to share it, because I have now been diagnosed with the following:

Love is a disease.
Symptoms may include, but are not limited to:
A feeling of weakness in the knees,
Chill, clammy hands,
A fluttering heart.
Known to cause hallucinations, insomnia,
And a dreamy, drowsy state of mind.
Love is a virus.
Once acquired, it controls the thoughts
And emotions of its victim.
There is no real cure; all we can do is wait
For it to run its course.
So settle in, snuggle up together,
And wait for the bug to pass.

I HATE THIS!!!! IT'S COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY STUPID!!!!!!!!! ARRRRRGGGGGGGG.

K, so this is not an ordinary "crush." This is the completely understated and quiet thing. I look for him in the halls, smile, speak normally, and I don't have any problems with any of the above symptoms. Out loud, anyway. This is the subdued and, well, almost real love, not a crush. Dumb. DUmb. DUMb. DUMB!!!!

There. My vent for the day. Boys are dumb. Especially a certain one. Who's amazing, gorgeous, sweet, sensitive, kind, funny, polite, happy, glowing.........

Stupid.

yesterday...

Was so much fun! My family and I spent the day in Salt Lake City, where we went to see "The Savior of the World" and the lights on Temple Square. It truly was amazing to go up there together.

Here are some pics:

In front of the big tree before "The Savior of the World."

Modern day sheep.

I got lucky on all of the following pictures. I don't know how I got them to look good:

Now more with people in them:

Meghan's make-shift nose warmer and Amanda's frozen gum.

In front of the Christos in the Visitor's Center.

All in all, it was a very fun day. Sure, we had our spats and little fights, but we all felt the Spirit a lot, too.
